READING BUSES will be operating reduced timetables across Christmas week.
The company’s festive service starts on Christmas Eve, with most routes finishing between 7pm and 8pm.
Routes that operate 24 hours a day will generally finish between 11pm and midnight.
There will be no service operating on Christmas Day, and a Sunday service will operate between 9am and 6pm on Boxing Day.
Buses will run to a Saturday timetable between Wednesday, December 27 and Saturday, December 30.
A normal Sunday service will operate on New Year’s Eve, and a bank holiday service on New Year’s Day.
The company is still working on its finalised timetables, and says that if a route does not run on a Sunday or bank holiday, it will not operate on Boxing Day.
Football fans will be able to use the buses to get to the Select Car Leasing Stadium on New Year’s Day, when the Royals take on Exeter City.
