PROGRESS Theatre has opened submissions for its annual celebration of local writing talent.
WriteFest is back once again for its 19th iteration and is seeking submissions from writers from the area to showcase their work on stage.
A maximum of two scripts of between 10-20 minutes in length can be submitted per writer, along with a covering email featuring the author’s name and contact details.
Authors are reminded to consider the theatre’s “black box” staging, meaning elaborate sets won’t be possible, and the works must not have been published or produced elsewhere.
