Police have warned people not to enter private land at a Reading golf club following reports of anti-social behaviour and arson.
Thames Valley Police said it had worked with Reading Golf Club to secure a “dangerous and unstable” compound which had been accessed by children.
The force said it had received reports of anti-social behaviour and arson from local residents.
The compound, along with surrounding fields and woodland, is private property owned by the golf club.
Police warned that anyone found trespassing or causing damage could face prosecution.
Officers will patrol the area to deter further activity, the force said.
Police urged people to stay away from the site because of the potential dangers posed by the unstable compound.
The force said the security measures had been put in place following concerns raised by local residents.
