ALDWORTH Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) will be performing music by Berlioz, Debussy and Franck this weekend.

Their concert, described as a musical treat, includes: Berlioz’s Hungarian March from The Damnation of Faust, Debussy’s La Mer, and Franck’s Symphony in D minor.

The APO is keen to hear from people who play an orchestral instrument to a high standard, and who may be interested in joining them.

They say they are always on the lookout for more musicians, especially string players.

The event takes place at the Great Hall, London Road Campus, Reading, on Saturday, October 19.

It begins at 7.30pm, with tickets available online for £15, £10 for under 18s, APO Young Members enter for £7, and under 5s enter free of charge.
