Home Counties Division 1

WOKINGHAM remain at the bottom of the table as they had to settle for a draw in their home clash with FINCHAMPSTEAD.

The Oaks put Finch into bat first and they racked up a decent score from 45 overs before declaring with six wickets down.

Opening batsman Gregory Smith knocked 62 runs, while wicket keeper Chris Britz was top scorer with 80 from 77 balls which contributed to Finch’s score of 231.

Wokingham bowler Thomas Hampton picked up five wickets from 13 overs, which included two maidens.

Ben Curran lasted the entire innings for Wokingham as he totalled 76 runs as the Oaks ended on 159-7 from 44 overs which saw the match drawn.

Despite adding six points to their total, Wokingham stay at the bottom of the table, while Finch are up in third having put 13 more points on their total.

BCMB Championship

SHINFIELD keep their spot in second place following their away success over CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD.

Muhammad Hafeez’s score of 71 helped Shinfield to 200 runs before they had the Crows all out on 158 to secure a 42-run triumph.

BRACKNELL UNITED 2s picked up an away win by three wickets against WEST READING.

Chilterns Division 1

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD 2s put 36 points on the board with a victory over Littlewick Green.

W Wells scored 55 runs which saw the Bears finish with 125 as they earned a 36-run win which puts them in third position.

BCL Premier Division

FARLEY HILL moved to the top of the table despite their away defeat to Checkendon by five wickets.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD 2s lost out by just one run away to Woodcote.

SHINFIELD 2s got the better of Peppard Stoke Row 2s by 70 runs.

Thames Valley Division 1

EVERSLEY dropped down to ninth position following their home loss to Tring Park,

Eversley scored 100 before they were all out as they lost out by six wickets.

READING were on the end of a four wicket loss against Cookham Dean which keeps them in fourth spot.

Thames Valley Division 2B

SONNING rose up to the summit with a massive win over Slough 2s.

Slough put 175 runs on the board in the first innings with 75 from Peter Higginbottom and 81 not out from Mohammed Zahid.

Zahid then added five wickets and Zanoxolo Glft Kwatsha also took five wickets to see Slough all out on 62 to confirm a 113-run win.

BINFIELD took 13 points as they drew against Sulhamstead & Ufton.
