ADOPTION charity PACT (Parents And Children Together) is looking for a loving, permanent family for twin sisters Lily and Rose*.

The little girls share a close bond and are happiest when together.

Described by their carers as determined and affectionate, they continue to make progress every day and bring joy to those around them as their personalities develop.

PACT is seeking adopters who can offer the sisters a stable, nurturing home where they can grow up together and receive the love, security and support every child deserves.

Lily and Rose have visual impairments and additional needs, which mean they require support from a range of specialists.

One of the girls also has epilepsy, which is well managed with medication.

Despite the challenges they face, both children are making positive progress and continue to develop in their own unique ways.

The charity is particularly keen to hear from individuals or couples who can provide the patience, commitment and understanding the girls will need as they grow.

As the sisters use specialist equipment, their adoptive family will need to have enough room to accommodate this alongside a spare room for them.

Ana Billenness, adoption team manager at PACT, said: “Lily and Rose are delightful sisters who share a very special bond.

“We are looking for adopters who can recognise the incredible potential they have. “Like all children, they need a family that will love them, champion them and help them thrive.

“Many people assume they need specialist knowledge or experience to adopt children with additional needs, but that is not necessarily the case.

“What matters most is a willingness to learn, patience, resilience and a commitment to providing a loving, secure home.

“PACT will support adopters every step of the way.”

The organisation says it provides comprehensive training, guidance and therapeutic support throughout the adoption journey and beyond, helping families build the confidence and skills they need to meet children’s individual needs.

Anyone interested in finding out more about Lily and Rose, or exploring whether they could provide a loving home for children with additional needs, is encouraged to contact PACT’s enquiries team.

There is no obligation, and an initial conversation can help prospective adopters understand more about the children, the support available and the adoption process. The charity can only accept enquiries from people from the UK.

*Names have been changed to protect the children’s identities.
