Police appeal for witnesses to Portman Road traffic collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after, at around 10am on Thursday, September 28, a black Toyota Prius, a black Toyota Hilux, and a Silver Vauxhall Astra were involved in a collision on Portman Road.

THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which took place in Reading on Thursday, September 28.

At around 10am, a black Toyota Prius, a black Toyota Hilux, and a Silver Vauxhall Astra were involved in a collision on Portman Road, at the junction with Cow Lane.

One of the drivers was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital after suffering minor bruising to her ribs.

The woman has since been discharged.

No arrests have been made as part of the investigation so far.

Investigating officer PC William Brown, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.
