Man charged with shoplifting following Apple Airtag thefts

A MAN has been charged with shoplifting in Reading following a Thames Valley Police investigation.

Giorgi Khachidze, aged 44 and of Clapton Common, Hackney, was charged on Friday, November 10, with one count of shoplifting.

The charge relates to an incident on the same day, when four Apple Airtags were stolen from the Apple Store in the Oracle shopping centre, Reading.

Khachidze is now due to appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 28.
