Former Reading FC star Michael Olise has added his first piece of major silverware to his collection as Bayern Munich were crowned as Bundesliga champions.

The midfielder made an enormous contribution as Munich regained the title having been beaten to first place by Bayer Leverkusen last season.

Olise broke through Reading’s academy and into the first-team, making a huge impression throughout his 73 appearances for the club.

His undeniable potential won him a transfer to Premier League Crystal Palace as the Eagles triggered his £8million release clause.

His best season with Palace came in his final year where he netted 10 times in 19 Premier League games which saw him capture the attention of all the top clubs around Europe.

Bayern Munich won the race to sign him and purchased him for around £50million in July 2024 on a five year deal.
