With the Easter Bank Holiday upon us, there’s plenty happening in and around Reading to keep all ages entertained this weekend. From family trails to music festivals and classic spring walks, here are five great ideas to make the most of the long weekend:

1. Go on the Reading Easter Trail

The popular free Easter Trail returns to Reading town centre, inviting families to spot hidden bunnies in shop windows from now until 12 April. Pick up a free trail map from Reading Museum, Broad Street Mall customer services or download one online, then explore the town while little ones hunt for all the floppy‑eared characters.

2. Enjoy live music at The Village Easter Festival

The Village Easter Festival runs from Thursday to Monday across venues in the town, with free live music and entertainment each day. Blues, jazz, folk and more will feature at spots like The Retreat and The Lyndhurst, making this a great option for adults and families alike.
