A SIGHT loss charity in Berkshire welcomed celebrity hosts for its latest fundraiser last week.
Berkshire Vision, which supports those with sight loss in Berkshire, was joined by broadcaster Chris Tarrant and comedian Chris McCausland for a weekend of fundraising in Reading.
It began with Mr Tarrant hosting a charity quiz night on Thursday, April 3, which raised £3,000 for those the organisation supports, with The Reading Witches taking the top spot.
It also hosted a raffle, with prizes donated by London Street Brasserie, The Roseate Reading, Siren Craft Brew, Zerodegrees, Reading Biscuit Factory, CHEC, Vino.Vita. Italian Wine Bar, Thames Rivercruise, and Carluccio’s, alongside hosts BrewDog Reading.

On Saturday, April 5, Chris McCausland brought his stand-up tour, Yonks, to The Hexagon, where Berkshire Vision held information stalls.
This allows the charity to reach out to audiences, raise awareness of their work, and raise further funds to support their efforts.
Berkshire Vision is the working name of Berkshire County Blind Society, which was established in 1910 and has an organisational history stretching back more than a century.
