THAMES Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a man officers wish to speak to following an incident of card skimming in West Berkshire.
Between 6pm and 6.30pm on Friday, June 20, two offenders visited an ATM outside of the Co-Op store at The Square in Pangbourne.
They pretended to start to draw cash out but instead planted a ‘skimmer’ device on top of the card reader in order to obtain card and pin details.
This resulted in a card being retained by the device and details potentially obtained and stolen.
Officers are trying to trace the victim and are appealing for them to come forward.
Investigating officer PC Danielle Scott said: “I am appealing for the victim to please come forward as they may be able to help us progress the investigation and to ensure that we can offer them the support that they need.

“I am also appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that may assist us to please get in touch.
“If you recognise the man in the image, or if this is you, please contact us.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting crime reference number 43250307010.
