Some motorists heading to Thames Valley Park will be forced to make a six mile diversion next month.
Barrier replacement work will see the slip road from Sutton Seeds roundabout closed during November.
For those leaving Reading, the diversion will take motorists down the A329M, coming off at Winnersh and looping round, then back up the A329M over the bridge.
A spokesperson for Wokingham Borough Council said it will ensure the diversion information is on the one network traffic information system.
Reading Buses confirmed the work will affect the Hospital park & ride 300 service.
That route will be diverted to Winnersh and back along the a329.
A spokesperson said: “A timetable amendment has been made, and the service will run as it did when the London Road railway bridge works were in place earlier in the year.”
