CHRISTMAS will come early, after Reading Borough Council granted permission for a popular seasonal attraction to return.
Reading’s Winter Wonderland will be in Hills Meadow car park from Wednesday, November 15, through to Sunday, January 7.
Councillors unanimously approved the plan, which includes a temporary ice rink, a marquee and various rides and stalls.
Organiser Billy Williams said: “We’ve grown it from an acorn, and I think it’s grown into something good for the town.”
The application can be seen on Reading Borough Council’s planning website, searching for reference 231094.
