To mark International Women’s Day, Reading Phoenix Choir will perform music that has been created by female composers when it gathers on Saturday.
The programme features works by Vittoria Aleotti, Sally Beamish, Kerensa Briggs, Elaine Hagenberg, Cecilia McDowall, Sarah Quartel and Hildegard Von Bingen.
It takes place at the University of Reading’s Great Hall on London Road from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £20 or £10 for under 16s.
