READING Carnival is holding a fundraising event this week after coming under new management.
The annual Reading Carnival has been taken over by Reading Caribbean Nation CIC, who are raising funds for the next iteration.
The Christmas Carnival Fundraiser is set to welcome DJ Centy, DJ Fearless, Lady B, Julia Titus, Jeff Hinds, Marlon Vybz, and Roots Hi Fi.
It will also feature food, drink, and craft stalls, and will see an appearance from the mayor of Reading, Cllr Glenn Dennis.
The Reading Carnival Christmas fundraiser takes place at Mapp Community Centre, Mount Pleasant, from noon-10pm on Saturday, December 21.
