THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a public order incident during the Reading FC V Peterborough United FC on Saturday, August 5.

The EFL League One match took place at Reading’s Select Car Leasing Stadium, where two public order incidents took place during the course of the fixture.

Fans entered the segregation area between stands as Peterborough scored just before half time, and again following the final whistle.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to aid their investigation into the incidents.

Sergeant Phil Ashlee said: “We are working with Reading FC, Peterborough United FC and Cambridgeshire Police to investigate these incidents and identify those involved.

“I am appealing to anyone with information about these offences to contact us by calling 101 or making a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230352726.
