POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision left a pedestrian with potentially life-changing injuries in Reading.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for those with information to come forward following the incident which took place on Wednesday, November 20.
Just after 10.45pm, a dark-coloured estate vehicle was travelling along London Road, near Cemetery Junction, in the direction of central Reading.
The vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian, a man in his 30s, who was taken to hospital and treated for potentially life-changing injuries, where he remains.
A 31-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance.
He has been released under investigation.
