THAMES Valley Police is releasing an image of a man who may have vital information about an assault in Reading.
At around 12.15am on Saturday, March 5, this year, a man in his thirties, was assaulted by two other men in Castle Street, causing a broken foot.
The victim was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital for further treatment and he has since been discharged.
A 43-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of breach of Section 18, which is grievous bodily harm with intent and using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, or distress.
He has been released under investigation.
PC Natasha Black, of Reading CID, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch as I believe he may have information in connection with this incident.
“Anyone else with information about the incident who has not already contacted us should also do so.
