POLICE are appealing for help tracing a man missing from Reading amid concerns for his welfare.
Thames Valley Police is seeking help locating the man aged 73, who was last seen in Basingstoke Road at around 7.30am on Tuesday, December 12.
He is described as being around 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build.
He does not have access to a car, but has a bus pass, and is believed to be in the Reading area.
Inspector Terry Dixon said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for [his] welfare and are appealing for the public’s help in locating him.
“We urge the public to keep an eye out in gardens or outbuildings in the area in case he has taken shelter in there overnight.
“If you see [him], please call us on 999, quoting reference number 43230556899.
“Anyone with information on his whereabouts should make a report on our website.”
