Reading FC Women put three points on the board with their first away win of the campaign in the Southern Region Women’s Premier.

The Royals, now managed by Ed Jackson-Norris who joined the club in the summer to replace Pedro Bruno, have made a strong start to the new season.

Reading kicked off their campaign with a 4-1 win over Badshot Lea before they tasted a 2-1 defeat at Beaconsfield Town in their next match.

However, they got back to winning ways with a thumping 5-0 away win at Manocroft United in the FA Women’s Cup and continued their momentum on Sunday with an away triumph at Southampton.
