A new play by local Reading writer, Doris Allimadi will be performed at the South Street Arts Centre in Reading this weekend.
‘Double Standards’ explores the hypocrisy in wide age gap dating where it is the norm for much older men to date and indeed marry much younger women and yet older women are stigmatised for dating or marrying younger men.
In this play a female lecturer, played by Doris Allimadi, meets a young man in a club, spends the night with him and later discovers that he is her student. The student is played by Greg Chandler.
