AS A READING-based law firm prepares to move into Wokingham, it has made a string of appointments.
Blandy & Blandy is opening a third practice in Market Place, following on the heels of its Blagrave Street office and another branch in Henley.
Tony Sadler is to be its finance director and will work closely with joint managing partners Tim Clark and Jonathan Gater, and colleagues in the senior management team. His role is to oversee finance and compliance within the firm.
A chartered accountant and fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), his in professional services and finance spans over 35 years, including nearly a decade as the finance and commercial director at Coffin Mew, prior to its acquisition by Knights.
“I am excited to be joining a leading regional firm with ambitious plans for the future and to be part of its management team taking the business forward,” he said.
Joint managing partner Jonathan Gater added: “We are delighted to welcome Tony to the firm. As we embark on an exciting period of growth, including the opening of our new Wokingham office, Tony brings a wealth of experience to our management team.”
And Adam Chalker is joining its corporate and commercial team as a solicitor.
He will join solicitors Jenny Scott and Emma Ford in supporting highly experienced partners Debbie Brett and Nick Burrows.
