FIRE crews were called to the River Thames on Sunday, February 11, to rescue a boat.
The boat was traveling downstream between Caversham Bridge and Reading Bridge.
Firefighters on a water rescue boat caught the boat in distress and securely moored it.
One person was tended to by a crew from South Central Ambulance Service.
The incident happened at 9.25am, and teams from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service stations on Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Theale were sent to the scene alongside the Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
