A VISIT from a Victorian Santa is on the cards for Reading Museum.
The jolly bearded man will be making a special appearance on Saturday, December 16, time travelling from 150 years ago to show children what the festive season used to be like when Queen Victoria was on the throne.
The event includes craft activities, and a chance to write a letter. Children will be relieved to learn they won’t be asked to climb any chimneys.
At the end, they will receive a gift from Santa.
The event runs in half-hour sessions from 10am to 3pm, but sessions have been fully booked.
