A COURIER firm is expanding its operations to meet demand, with Reading one of the key points in its operation.

CitySprint, which operates a same-day delivery service, says it is focusing on high-growth in the healthcare sector.

It is seeking additional staff in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Reading and Nottingham.

And the firm is looking to expand it electric vehicle fleet.

Mark Footman, chief operating officer at CitySprint, said: “As a business, we have enjoyed another year of considerable growth — winning new clients and, most recently, acquiring Manchester-based same-day courier company, EcoSpeed.

“We are committed to providing our 14,000+ clients with the best possible service all year round, which is why we’re bolstering the fleet to ensure we are prepared to face anything that comes our way over the busy summer months.
