A Reading-based charity is organising a sparkling jubilee afternoon tea.

The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre is holding a sparkling reception with a glass of fizz on arrival and coffees and cream teas.

There will be live music courtesy of a trombone band, and a raffle. There will be plenty of time to mingle.

The event takes place in the Flavell Suite at Sindlesham Court on Saturday September 10, from 2pm to 5pm. This venue is fully accessible and has a large car park.

Berkshire MS Therapy Centre provides specialised therapies and a social space for people with MS. It receives no NHS funding and relies on fundraising.

Kim Williams, community and events fundraiser for Berkshire MS, said: “This will be a lovely event, giving people another chance to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, while supporting the centre at the same time.”
