BBC Radio Berkshire is in search of a hero or eight.
It has launched its Make A Difference awards for 2023, and is asking for nominations of great neighbours, super carers, and awesome volunteers for everyday acts of kindness where they live.
The awards aim to celebrate people who go above and beyond to make a difference where they live.
The categories are volunteer, community groups, fundraiser, carer, great neighbour, bravery, a green award, and the together award.
The winners will be announced at a Make a Difference award ceremony in September.
Chris Burns, controller local audio commissioning for BBC England, said: “I am really pleased that we will once again be celebrating the good things that people are doing where they live.
“Our audiences have faced tough times over the past few years and have contacted us to share their stories of how people are helping each other. It’s great that we can celebrate these unsung heroes.”
There are eight award categories and nominations close on Sunday, March 5, at 11pm.
