Reading, UK – The rhythm of the world is coming to life once again as the World Groove Festival returns on Saturday, 27th September 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM – an unmissable evening of live music from across the globe, taking place at the beautiful and historic Reading Minster, St Mary’s Butts, Reading RG1 2LG.

This year’s festival is more than just music — it’s a heartfelt celebration of Reading’s rich cultural diversity, a call for unity, and a joyful reminder of the power of music to bring people together. As a town with such a vibrant and multicultural community, we believe there’s something special missing when it comes to world music and shared cultural celebration — and World Groove is here to fill that space.

The festival is proudly supported by our generous sponsors: Paul Childs, Premier Suits, and Zimasa Vodka, as well as our valued friends including the Refugee Support Group. Together, we are creating an event that not only uplifts through music but fosters connection, community pride, and cultural exchange while encouraging Reading organisations to work together to showcase our Pride.

By bringing world music to Reading, we aim to boost tourism, invigorate the local economy, and support local businesses. We are currently in discussions with local companies that promote sustainability and eco-friendly practices, including single-use plastic alternatives, to ensure the event is as kind to the planet as it is to the ears. Sustainability and global consciousness will be woven into the heart of the festival, right alongside the music.

The excitement is building — we already have two phenomenal artists confirmed, including one international act flying in, especially for the people of Reading. We’ll be announcing the full lineup soon once we receive all the promotional materials from the artists.

Whether you’re dancing, vibing, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, World Groove Festival 2025 is your passport to a global experience — right in the heart of Reading.
