Reading Borough Council has announced that Water Fest is taking place on Saturday, June 4.The event will feature as the flagship event for Reading’s celebrations of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the Summer.

The festival will take place at Forbury Gardens, the Abbey ruins, Chestnut Walk, and Riverside Walk, and coincides with the jubilee bank holiday weekend.
Last year’s Water Fest was not only its 30th anniversary, but also marked 900 years of Reading Abbey.
It celebrated the history of the building, and featured boat parades and demonstrations, live music across four stages, and numerous arts workshops.
It also featured a floating stage for music and theatre performances.
Water fest 2022 will be held on Saturday, June 4, from 11am to 5pm.
