Dance Reading (formerly Junction Dance) formed in 2014, is an arts charity committed to opening up access to dance for all, strengthening and improving the quality of dance in the community and providing new platforms for experiencing dance.
They are looking to connect with a team of volunteers who would like to support events at Dance Reading 2022 and be part of making their festival possible. You don’t need to be a dancer or an arts professional.
They want welcoming and inclusive volunteers to be available for at least one of the following events.

Saturday, November 26, from 5pm to 10pm at READ College, St Bartholomew’s Road
West Reading Together is a resident-led community organisation that aims to bring the people of West Reading together and help make our brilliant neighbourhood even better.
Right now they are in urgent need of School Street volunteers.
You don’t need to be a parent to help, there are amazing residents who volunteer too. School Street is a scheme to create a safer environment for children leaving school, reducing road danger and creating a cleaner environment.
They want two volunteers to supervise the bottom of Wilson Road from 8.25am-9am and from 2.55pm-3.30pm. Training and high-visibility materials are provided.
Graft Thames Valley is a charity that aims to eradicate barriers to employment for disabled or disadvantaged people struggling to find a job.
They are seeking volunteers to assist their Job Club Supervisor in order to run their two Job Clubs per week.
The role involves setting up computers, meeting and greeting jobseekers and taking time to settle them into the job club; then working alongside the jobseeker to help them find and apply for suitable jobs.
Full training will be provided.
