THIEVES fled empty handed from a home in Caversham last weekend.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to come forward in a bid to catch them.
The would-be burglar attempted to gain entry to a garage and side gate of the home in Upper Woodcote Road.
The incident took place around 2.50am on Saturday, May 28.
As they were unable to get in, nothing was stolen.
