TWO DAYS of music will be performed in Reading town centre next month as a popular music festival returns.
Down At The Abbey takes place from Friday, September 9, in the Abbey Ruins off Chestnut Walk.
Run the by team behind the Are You Listening? festival, there will be two stages presenting a mixture of bands including cosmic jazz pioneers The Comet Is Coming, Saturday headliner BC Camplight, and pan-continental four-piece Los Bitchos.
The festival bar will feature beers created by Finchampstead-based Siren Craft Brew, and there will also be ciders, coffee, cocktails and more, as well as street food.
