THREE days of laughter will take place across the town this weekend thanks to the first Reading Indie Comedy Festival.
Venues including Milk, The Purple Turtles and Double-Barrelled Brewery will be hosting a raft of comedians.
It starts tomorrow from 7.30pm with the Reading New Comedian of the Year contest at the Turtle.
At 8pm, Andy Gleeks will be in The Roseate Hotel, with his show These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins.
Comedy starts at noon on Saturday: Geoff Steel will be at The Purple Turtle, while The Roseate hosts Alex Kitson from 12.30pm.
Harriet Kemsley will be at The Outlook in Kings Road from 3pm, followed at 5pm by Rhodri Buttrick.
Laughs start at 2pm on The Purple Turtle with Luke Chilton, and at 4pm, Darren Harriott.
The day’s headliner is Gary Delaney, appearing at 7.30pm at Double-Barrelled. There is an afterparty at the same venue from 10.30pm.
An Improv event is at the Turtle from 1pm on Sunday. If that is too early, Kathryn Mather is on at 3pm, Roman Harris at 5pm and Josh Baulf will be cracking gags at 7pm.
Milk is hosting comedy from 12.30pm, with Dan Collins up first, then Michael Odewale at 2.30pm, Charlie George at 4.30pn, and Joe Wells at 5.30pm.
The event ends with a Roast Battle at Milk from 8pm.
Tickets cost from £5 per event, with festival passes costing £35 or £40.
