READING Borough Council has closed two parks in Reading today.
The council confirmed Forbury Gardens and Caversham Court Gardens have been closed for safety reasons due to Storm Eunice.
For parks which can’t be physically closed, the council is advising people to take care and to keep away from trees to avoid falling branches.
As a result of strong winds across the borough, residents are being advised to avoid non-essential travel.
