POLICE are advising that a Section 35 dispersal order has been put in place in central Reading today, August 19.
It follows reports of an assault, which Thames Valley Police is investigating at this time.
Police advise that members of the public will see an increased police presence in central Reading as they continue to investigate.
Thames Valley Police posted to social media at 6:40pm saying: “A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been put in place in Reading town centre.
“It has been put in place to allow officers to investigate an assault in the town centre.
“Members of the public will see an increased presence while the order remains in place.”
