SAUSAGES might be a favourite of talking dogs, but they are meat and drink to a charity fundraiser.
Terry Dixon, who won a Pride of Reading award for his cultural contribution to Reading, is preparing to lead a new walk that unpacks the role of sausages to the town. It will also explore other, more well-known, Ding culinary treats: biscuits and beer.
There will be 200 years of history explored in the tour of the town, which will start in Reading town centre, at 9.50am on Wednesday, January 31.
Places must be booked in advance and are limited to 20. Participants are asked to make a donation of at least £5. This will be shared between Home-Start Reading and the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre.
