FAMILIES can enjoy a treat at South Street Arts Centre – a play that’s good enough to eat.
The Gingerbread Man and A Pot Full of Magic is an hour-long show that fuses puppetry and storytelling to enchant audiences.
It is devised by The Theatre of Widdershins and its master storyteller Andy, who brings classic fairy stories to life with quirky family-friendly humour and mind-boggling sets that will keep children – and grown-up children – captivated for the full 60 minutes.
This show brings together two tasty tales served with unexpected spices and quirky flavours.
They say audueinces should get ready to fill up on Magic Pot Porridge and chase that slippery little biscuit The Gingerbread Man.
The show is suitable for ages four upwards, and takes place at 11.30am or 2pm on Wednesday, October 25. Tickets cost £9.50.
