Reading FC manager Ruben Selles reflected after the Royals picked up an away win on Saturday at Peterborough United.
A brace from Harvey Knibbs earned Reading three points which puts them just outside of the play-off places.
“One of our biggest strengths is against the wall when we can press and go high,” said Selles.
“Sometimes they break our pressure and get situations five against six or six against six, that can happen in our game.
“Sometimes we win the ball high and have chances to score goals. We press to score goals. Exeter was another good example of that.
“We have been evolving in a really good direction in possession so when we play against teams that are more direct we are able to have the ball and break the pressure.
“We like it when we can play this kind of game because you can get beat, but you enjoy the game. You have opportunities and it’s a quick game.
“We need to get points when the games are coming like that and also make even better games when it’s a different kind of game.”
