THE NATIONAL Health Service is inviting members of the public to take part in a fundraising event and brew a cuppa this summer.
The NHS Big Tea is returning this year, raising vital funds for the Royal Berks Charity, which supports the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
Residents are invited to host events in aid of the charity, particularly as the NHS marks its 76th birthday on July 5.
Participants can host tea parties, quizzes, and competitions any time between June and August, not only bringing together members of their communities, but also raising funds to support medical provision in the area.
Projects such as the purchasing of state-of-the-art medical equipment, funding research and innovation, and supporting staff development can be supported through the initiative.
Participants can sign up through RBC, with registration open from events from Saturday, June 1, to Saturday, August 31.
