A VOLUNTEER-run session aimed at bringing broken items back to life is to take place in Reading town centre later this month.
The Repair Cafe will run in Greyfriars Pub on Sunday, February 18, between 12.30pm and 4.30pm.
Items that can be taken along include electronics, mechanical items, computers (hardware/software), toys, furniture, clothing, and textiles. It is also possible to get tools sharpened.
The group’s motto is ‘if it’s broken, bring it along and we are sure to have a go’. Advice is available if items cannot be repaired.
Donations are welcomed towards running costs.
