TWO READING men have been charged with robbery following an incident earlier this month.
On July 12, a robbery took place at the Premier Store in Caversham Road; two men were arrested last Thursday, July 24.
Lee Owen, aged 24, of The Meadway, Reading, has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Shane Roberts, aged 28, of Prospect Street, Reading, has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
Both appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 25, and were remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on August 26.
