READING FC staff have not been paid their full salaries for November as current owner Dai Yongge continues to struggle with operating costs at the club.
Dai Yongge is currently undergoing negotiations with several parties over the proposed sale and takeover of the club which is hoped to be completed by early 2024.
Just a day after being placed back on the EFL’s embargo list for failing to pay an outstanding HMRC bill once again, financial issues continue to hurt the club’s staff.
Things had started to look up on the field for the Royals, who found their first league away win in more than a year last weekend and backed that up with three more points on Tuesday night to move closer to escaping the League One relegation zone.
However, another setback has hit the club with staff being told the news that they will only receive a portion of their wages for this month.
This is just one of several occasions where players and staff have not been paid on time over the last 12 months.
