HEALTH and wellness brand Village Hotel Club, has announced a new partnership with Reading Football Club.

It means the company becomes the club’s official hotel partner ahead of the opening of Village Hotel Club Reading in December this year.

As part of the partnership, Village Hotel Club’s logo will feature on the back of the Men’s First Team kit for the 2025/2026 season and on advertising boards around the pitch at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Known for its ‘everything under one roof’ proposition, each of the company’s hotel offers extensive leisure facilities, including a Village Health and Wellness Club, a pub and grill, and an on-site Starbucks.

Following its acquisition of the former Crowne Plaza site at Caversham Bridge, Village Hotel Club is currently completing a multi-million-pound investment and renovation to create a new destination for both visitors and the local community.

Local sports fans will soon be able to catch all the sporting action on huge screens in the Pub & Grill, while fitness fanatics will enjoy the state-of-the-art Health & Wellness facilities.

Rob Lees, General Manager of Village Hotel Club Reading, said: “Village and Reading FC share ambitious plans for the future, and this sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting local community initiatives and fostering community spirit.

“We are extremely proud to partner with Reading FC, and support the Club in achieving its goals, and look forward to welcoming fans to Village Hotel Club Reading later this year.

“This collaboration marks an exciting step forward for Village as we continue to expand our partnerships with dynamic sporting brands and events.”

Rob Couhig, Chairman of Reading Football Club, said: “We are delighted to have Village Hotel Club on board and would like to thank them for all their support.

“We share the same community values, and we look forward to working with them throughout the 2025/2026 season and beyond.”
