A READING band is celebrating the release of their first EP with a launch party in a historic venue.
Our Fate is taking to the stage at The Purple Turtle on Saturday, June 24, to mark the debut of their new EP, Reflections of My Past.
Formed in 2019, the four-piece outfit mixes post-hardcore, alt-rock, and pop punk after coming together from previous projects.
Each of their latest three singles has been featured on BBC Introducing’s Berkshire programme, including their debut song, Alone.
They’ve previously counted The Dead Kennedys and Funeral for a Friend among their influences, though they have described their musical backgrounds as particularly varied.
Our Fate will see support from Wiltshire-based blues and alt-rock trio NervEndings and Risking Nostalgia, an alt-rock quartet hailing from London.
There will also be physical copies of the EP as well as band merch available to buy at the event.
Our Fate’s EP launch night takes place at The Purple Turtle, Gun Street, from 7pm on Saturday, June 24, with free entry.
