Reading FC secured their place in the second-round of the FA Cup with a win over League Two Fleetwood Town.
Facing up against former Royals player Charlie Adam, who is manager of the Cod Army, Ruben Selles made seven changes from the side that lost at Stockport in midweek.
Tyler Bindon led the side out as skipper, while there were places in the starting eleven for Louis Holzman, Shay Spencer and Ashqar Ahmed.
After an uneventful first-half, the sides were locked in a goalless contest.
Bindon led by example when he put the Royals in front a few minutes after the restart when he got on the end of Charlie Savage’s free-kick.
The tie was wrapped up when Jayden Wareham got on the scoresheet with a deflected effort.
