QUEEN Anne’s in Caversham has said it is “delighted” with its students’ achievements as pupils around the country collect their A-Level results today (Thursday, August 15).

Of grades awarded by the school, 86% were C or above, with more than a third (36%) of those given being A or A* grades.

Among those students celebrating today are Keira Barton, whose A* and two A grades in Biology, Geography and Psychology, will see her study Biomedical Science at the University of York, and Ella Barker, who is going on to study Law at the University of Bath after achieving two A* grades and an A.

Criminology students at the school were also high-achieving, with 86% receiving an A* or A grade.

“Mr Ben Stephenson, criminology teacher and director of Sixth Form, said: “these results are a testament to our students’ dedication and curiosity.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their hard work pay off, and I couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.”
