Two people have been arrested following a protest which garnered a significant police presence in Winnersh this morning (Wednesday, November 12.)

It comes after protestors were seen standing on the roof of the Keysight Technologies building in Wharfdale Road, Winnersh, brandishing flags.

A number of police officers attended the scene, with multiple police cars in the area.

Two women have been arrested-one aged 38 and of no fixed abode, and another aged 20 and from Nottingham- on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage to property.

Police estimate that around £5,000 of damage has been caused at the scene.

Among the signs at the site of the protest are those in support of hunger strikes in support of Palestinian people, as well as Palestinian flags.
