Their nominator said: “Not only do they work with local business to provide free and low cost trips out for families, they offer support, advice and guidance. Such an amazing bunch and Michaela has the families’ best interests at heart.”
They added: “They have honestly brought new experiences to children that would not have the opportunity if it was not for Spotlight.
“They would tremendously hard in securing venues and sponsors.”
Spotlight UK also hosts after school clubs in some local schools. “Everyone who I have spoken to including children always say the have had an amazing time.
“It’s great to be out with the children and experiencing new things without having to sacrifice your own dinner to pay for it.” said the nominator.
“The support from parents that attend the activities is amazing – everyone is in the same boat so to speak so there is no judgment and advice is shared.
“The children make friends and continue playing while giving parents a hard-earned rest.”
