Police say they were “shocked” to find a heavily intoxicated man passed out in the driver’s seat of a car in Reading.
Thames Valley Police said officers discovered the man on Tuesday morning with vomit on his clothing. He was reportedly so intoxicated that he could not tell officers his name.
Police said the vehicle’s key had been placed in the ignition, but the man was unable to start the car.
Officers added that the man failed to provide a specimen when requested and is expected to face court proceedings, where he could receive a driving ban.
Thames Valley Police said the only “fortunate” aspect of the incident was that the man was too intoxicated to drive.
